² “·Human [^TSon of man; 2:1], prophesy against the prophets of Israel. Say to those who ·make up their own prophecies [prophesy from their hearts/imagination]: ‘Listen to the word of the Lord. ³ This is what the Lord God says: ·How terrible it will be for [^LWoe to] the foolish prophets who follow their own ·ideas [^Lspirit] and have ·not seen a vision from me [^Lseen nothing]! ⁴ People of Israel, your prophets have been like ·wild dogs [jackals] among ruins.
